Jonathan Day 294

A rain filled Saturday here in MI.  We had breakfast and while Da Da did the treadmill I played with JH.  He kept getting his train stuck (not) in the sofa and I had to come and rescue the Choo Choo and then it happened; Jonathan got stuck between the sofa cushions :-)  Once Da Da was done it was my turn to get some cardio in too.

We drove to New Buffalo and Da Da got me a Japanese Maple to put next to the pond he is digging next week.  We're getting the septic replaced on Monday so since the yard will be torn apart we're getting some wish list done.  The thing about an equity line is once you start spending it only makes sense to exhaust it so the temptation is gone.

Lunch and naps and then a drive to Niles to replace the chick that died last week.  I'm not sure what happened but when I found her she was as flat as a pancake.  Maybe the living 8 stomped her to bits.  There is a crazy law in MI where when buying live poultry there is a 5 bird minimum.  We had them all boxed up and then the women selling them said we could not integrate the old with the new since the older ones would peck the new chicks to death.  Yikes!

On the way home we stopped for gas and this is what happened when Da Da got back in the car after filling the tank:

Da Da:  Guess how much that cost?

Daddy: $65

Da Da: No, $62, that's some crazy gas!

JH:  I have some crazy gas

Da Da and Daddy:  Hahahahhaha

After we built a segregation wall in the brooding box (JH helped), we had dinner and now Jonathan is attempting to sit nice.  My guess is he won't make it 5 more minutes because Da Da has just given him his last warning :-)
