Jonathan Day 286

Not much special about today other than Da Da, Kiki, and JH getting ready for our big garage sale tomorrow.  We are hoping to get rid of a garage full of Chicago condo stuff and emptying the attic.  We hope to slowly get the attic finished if we can keep the condo in Chicago rented. I'm hoping that is the last frontier here on Kruger Rd :-)

Da Da and I took JH to the park after work and again, as soon as we pulled in he said "awww, no kids again".  We asked him if he wanted to stay or go home and he opted to stay and play. After about 20 minutes a minivan pulled up and a hulking kid ran out and JH gleefully yelled "kid, kid, there are kids coming".  The kid was 6 and about 100 pounds so he didn't want much to do with JH.  His younger sister came out a few minutes later and JH ran to her and she asked his name and he said "Jonathan Harper Kinyon", rather than just Jonathan.  It was so damn cute!!!

We stayed at the park until the kids gramma FINALLY walked over and after 2 minutes walked across the parking lot to the City Hall (attached to the park) and went in for about 10 minutes.  We were dumbstruck watching her leave a 6 year old and a 4 year old in an unattended park with two strangers.  We got to our car and noticed her car doors were slid open and low and behold there was another toddler in there sitting in a car seat!  If the kids weren't calling her gramma we may have thought it was more than it was.

Dinner was okay, it's been a challenge with JH and meals with Kiki being here.  I'm not sure if he's acting out to impress her or if it's just a bubble in his routine.  He's such a little creature of habit (like his Daddy and Da Da) :-)
