Jonathan Day 283

This is Jonathan Harper sitting nice.  He's still a little wiggly but for the most part he's being good.

Da Da got up earlier than I did this morning and by the time I dragged myself out of bed JH was eating breakfast.  There is nothing better than hearing "good morning Daddy" when I walk out of our room.  JH went to Carly's house this morning so it was pretty quiet.

I went and picked JH up at 2:00 PM and he dramatically ran to Christy and said "ohhhh save me Christy" giggling and running.  I scooped him up and he said "I'll see you tomorrow, thank you".  Christy said he pooped there today and all she had to do was look at him and she knew he needed to go.  It's so frustrating that he doesn't tell us when he has to pee pee.  I guess we should be happy he tells us when he has to poop :-)

We got our chicks today and JH just stood at the pen looking at them.  I'm not sure he really gets that they will be big chickens soon.  6 weeks in the brooder (in the garage) and then it's to the chicken coop.  I would like to have him help feed and water them daily.

We played outside for a little bit but JH wanted to be carried so we thought he really wasn't in to running around.  It was a little cold so maybe that was part of it.  He ate pretty well at dinner and tried to have a popsicle but kept feeding it to me so I just scarfed it down.  I replaced it with a yummy chocolate pudding.  We bounced a big h around in the house until he popped it and ran to me saying "That ahballoon scared me".  He calls balloons ahballoons because we used to ask him if he wanted "a balloon".  He laid on me quietly hugging me after he was scared by the popping balloon for about 15 minutes; it was great!
